The first Sunday of every month during the school year we put on a 55 minute production during each of our morning services. This is a live show for kids K-5th grade AND their parents. We’ve created a fun place where kids can bring their parents to learn about God. This high-energy experience includes music, dancing, skits, videos and creative Bible story telling. We think you’ll be surprised at how fun it is to learn together as a family. The family that learns together communicates more and starts each conversation on the same level. It’s fun, interactive, and you won’t want to miss it!
Why We Do FX Live!
FX Live! is an essential part of our Children’s Ministry strategy. We believe it’s our best way to partner with parents. Parents are the single greatest influence in their child’s life. Each year kids spend about 3,000 hours with their parents versus around 40 that they will spend attending church. That means that the average parent will have more time to discuss spiritual issues with their children this year than our church will in the next 75 years! Because of this, we believe that what happens at HOME is more important than what happens at church. We believe that it is our role to partner with parents by providing a plan that will give them the tools they need to lead their kids spiritually. This plan is launched the first Sunday of each month at FX Live! and continues in our Children’s Ministry classrooms throughout the rest of the month. During the show we’ll reveal one of God’s “Big Ideas”. The “Big Idea” is something that every parent wants their kid to learn, such as self-control, honesty, patience, and gratitude.
While we know your entire family will have a blast at FX Live!, it’s not what happens during the family experiences that is most important, but what happens between them. So come experience God’s “Big Ideas” together with your children so you have something to share with them the rest of the month. Remember, no one has more potential to influence your child’s relationship with God than you!
